Kgolathuto Secondary
Established in 1998 and is a mega school with more than 1400 learners. We are register above 250 learners in matric and admit more than 300 in grade 8 and 10, yearly.
School Application
Application forms can be collected from the school office or downloaded from our website. Completed forms must be submitted with the required supporting documents.
Grades 8–9 Subjects
Grade 8 - 9 Emphasis on literacy, numeracy, life orientation, and introduction to core subjects like Natural Sciences and Social Sciences. This phaseis to discover their interests and study discipline.
Grades 10–12 Subjects
Learners begin to explore subject streams (Sciences, Commerce, Humanities, etc.) Increased focus on career awareness and subject specialisation. with an increased focus on career awareness .

Our Music and Sports Programmes allow learners to express themselves, build confidence, and learn the value of teamwork.

Kgolathuto has proudly served the learners of Qwa Qwa (Phuthaditjhaba) in the Free State for more than three decades. Our diverse school community includes learners from various cultural backgrounds, as well as those from outside the Thabo Mofutsanyane Education District.
We are proud of our dedicated teaching staff, many of whom have ranked in the provincial Top 10 for their subjects. Our team includes both experienced educators and vibrant new teachers who work together to mentor and grow future leaders in education.
